First Time Setup

For Allworx Phones

1. Press the Messages or MSGS Key once
2. Confirm the extension shown is yours, hit OK
3. When prompted, enter the default PIN: 1983, hit OK
4. You will be asked to change the password right away.

Changing your PIN

1. Press the Messages or MSGS Key twice
2. Enter your PIN followed by #
3. Dial 4 – 5
4. Follow the prompts to change your PIN

Please Note: The system disallows the use of simple passwords. Do not use a pin that you would not trust for your debit card.[/info_list_item][info_list_item list_title=”Record Your Name” list_icon=”Defaults-user”]It is important to record your name so that it can be played to callers when they are transferred through the Auto Attendant.

To Record Your Name:

1. Press the Messages or MSGS Key twice
2. Enter your PIN followed by #
3. Dial 4 – 2
4. Follow the prompts to record your name

To Record:

1. Press the Messages or MSGS Key twice
2. Enter your PIN followed by #
3. Dial 4 – 3 – 0
4. Follow the prompts to record your greeting

2. When prompted, dial the default password: 0000 or 1983
3. You will be asked to change the password right away.

2. Dial # – 7 -1
3. Follow the prompts to change your PIN

1. Log in with your PIN
2. Dial # – 7 – 3
3. Follow the prompts – You will be asked to spell out your first and last name using the telephone keypad.

To Record:

1. Log in with your PIN
2. Dial 5 – 1
3. Follow the prompts
